Welcome to the Iota chapter of Chi Omega at The University of Texas at Austin! 

My name is Amanda Murray, and I am honored to be the President. Congratulations to the new officers for 2008! It is going to be a great year, and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.

As you take a look around the site, I hope you will get an idea of what Chi Omega means to me. This sorority is more than just a group of friends. It is a special bond shared between members that is unlike any other. Sometimes sisterhood is one of the many things that two people have in common, and other times it may be the only thing. I have met some of my very best friends in Chi O because of our common experiences, and I have also met girls who I can learn so much from because of our different backgrounds. Our members are truly special. As I think about my sisters, I am amazed. A sorority like Chi Omega is exceptionally rare.
